After completing his B.Com (Hons) from the famous Shri Ram College of Commerce, he went for MBA from the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee (US). Anuuj Saawhney believes that, the international exposure to different people and cultures that he gained, has helped him immensely to broaden his horizons, first as an individual and then as an actor.

I saw his movie Amdani Atthani Karcha Rupiya and found him better for Comedy roles. I want more Comedy movies from Anuj Sawhney like this one. He is good and can do better. I hope he will lead Bollywood someday.
i would call anuuj the 'chingari' guy rather than the 'nayee padosan' guy. he was brilliant in the movie and i hope to soon see some more exellect performances in the near future from anuj
